social classes

Every time we talk about social classes in class, I think of the tv show Gossip Girl. In my head, the characters are a very good example of what upper/elite class. These people have so much money, they don't know what to do with it, and, in the show, that can be the root of many of their problems. In addition, the show takes place in New York, which I think is a very good place to easily observe all of the classes. You have the very rich to the many homeless people on the streets and everything in between all within a few blocks of each other. New york is definitely an interesting place.
